Honda has introduced the “Hail a Honda” rideshare program at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Austin, Texas. In partnership with Ride Austin and the festival, Honda and the Honda dealers of Central Texas are providing free ridesharing services to festivalgoers.
This is Honda’s eighth year as the festival’s official sponsor, which is taking place over the course of two weekends in late September and early October. In addition to the “Hail a Honda” program, Honda will also provide the Honda stage for the event and will set up vehicle displays for fans as well as activities like the Honda Artist Singing Shack.
Honda will also provide bandanas and complimentary water to “Hail a Honda” riders. According to Nick Lee, the National Manager for Honda Advertising, “The new ‘Hail A Honda’ program is a great way to extend our long-standing partnership with the ACL Festival and offer festivalgoers an even better experience with a free ride to Zilker Park to enjoy their favorite bands and experience some of our newest Honda products.”
Download the Ride Austin app and go to the ACL Fest tab in order to access a free Honda ride to the festival next weekend. Festivalgoers using the app will be taken to and from the festival in the new 2016 Honda CR-V. The festival will also feature headliners such as LCD Soundsystem, Major Lazer, Die Antwoord, and Cage the Elephant.
