The Honda Fit, Honda’s popular subcompact hatchback, will see its first major update since its third generation was unveiled for the 2015 model year. Details of the 2018 Honda Fit refresh have been released, and the car is set to debut in July.
One of the biggest additions to the new Honda Fit is its new trim level, a Sport trim that will be added between the LX and EX models. This trim will feature a low front splitter, a rear diffuser, and more that will contribute to a sportier look.
The new Honda Fit will come with restyled front and rear ends, including a chrome and black grille, more aggressive headlights integrated into the fascia, and sharper taillights. It will come with new color options as well, including Helios Yellow Pearl and Orange Fury.
Honda is also adding Honda Sensing® to the Fit, making it the first subcompact in the industry to offer driver assist technologies. This suite of active safety features includes adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, road-departure mitigation, and more.
