Honda Civic Hatchback Prototype to be Shown before New York International Auto Show

Honda Civic Hatchback prototype to debut this month


The 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback prototype we initially saw at the Geneva Motor Show in February will be back on March 22, right before the New York International Auto Show. The prototype, according to Honda, “showcases the aggressive new design of the 2017 Civic Hatchback,” which is set to hit showroom floors in the fall.

The Civic Hatchback will be the third variant of the Honda Civic introduced, including the Si and the Type R. the Hatchback has attracted tons of attention and positive reviews so far thanks to its sharp, sporty design and Turbo engine.

Honda also cites the new Civic Hatcback’s “impressive list of premium features and cutting-edge safety technology” as well as its 5-door utility among the features we should expect from the 2017 Civic Hatchback. Pricing and engine info have not yet been announced, but they’ll probably be similar to the Civic Sedan.
